PRE-RIDE REGISTRATION / ENTRY FORM / SOUVENIR ORDERS
All riders may pre-register by mail before October 18, 2012. Complete entry form and return your fee ($50.00 single, $80.00 tandem team) to: SCOR, P.O. Box 9065, Brea, Calif. 92822.
You may Register on-line with your credit card until October 18, 2012.
SOUVENIR orders will be accepted until October 18, 2012 for pick-up at the event. Souvenirs will be available on a first come, first served basis at the event and orders will be taken for items we run out of. To guarantee jersey pick-up, send your order in by September 9, 2012.
DAY OF EVENT REGISTRATION
Registration for those not pre-registered will be at the Riverview Park on Friday evening, November 2, from 6 to 10 PM and Saturday morning,
November 3, from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM (add $15.00 late fee).

SAG STOP FARE
All SAG stops will be fully stocked with fresh bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, pineapple, trail mix, salted peanuts, raisins, freshly baked oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies from the Solvang Bakery, Fig Newtons, Bottled Water and SPIZ, the only nutritionally complete energy drink (www.SPIZ.net). Clif Bar samples and additional food items may be added as available.


THREE GREAT SCENIC ROUTES!
The 35 mile (easy) and 50 mile (moderate) routes are beautiful, rural and scenic. For those looking for a challenge there will be a hilly Metric Century (63 miles) again this year. The elevation gains are 900, 2000 or 3000 feet respectively for the 35, 50 and 63 mile rides.



FREE ENTRY . . . YOU READ THAT RIGHT!
Any rider who has a PRO-BIKE FIT ($150) with Randy Ice, P.T., C.C.S. will have his/her entry fee waived. Randy has over 27 years of fitting experience and can relieve pain syndromes with his fitting techniques. His Fitting Service is mobile and can come to your location.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteers are needed to work Friday evening and on ride day at registration. SAG stops and the finish line. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and free BBQ lunch.

CYCLING FESTIVAL AND LUNCH
Outdoor musical festival packed with vendors, live DJ and others. A catered luncheon will be served from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Lunch tickets available for pre-order online or at the event.


Available at www.brightroom.com within 72 hours after the ride. Obtain a photograph of your exciting time on our scenic routes as a memento of our event. Please affix your Bib number to your chest, and the front of your helmet.
SAFETY
Helmets are mandatory for all riders. Helmets will be available for purchase from SCOR. If you ride in a paceline, please announce “on your left” when passing other riders. Please ride single file and understand that you assume all liabilities and risk for riding in a paceline. No personal SAG vehicles are allowed. Headphones, Walkmans and iPods are also forbidden by law. Trikke bikes prohibited.
LAW ENFORCEMENT AND INTERSECTION CONTROL
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department and California Highway Patrol will be providing intersection control throughout the courses. Please follow their directions. At unmanned intersections and on the route, please obey all applicable vehicle code laws.
These roads are open to normal traffic, but are generally lightly traveled due to the rural nature of the area. Riders who violate vehicle code laws, ride unsafely or are rude, discourteous or dangerous to other riders (or to law enforcement personnel) will NOT be allowed to enter any future SCOR events and face ticketing by law enforcement personnel.
