when passing other riders. Please ride single file and understand that you
assume all liabilities and risk for riding in a paceline. No personal SAG
vehicles are allowed. Headphones, Walkmans and iPods are also forbidden by
law. TRIKKE BIKES PROHIBITED. |
| LAW
ENFORCEMENT AND INTERSECTION CONTROL |
The
Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department and California Highway Patrol will be
providing intersection control throughout the courses. Please follow their
directions. At unmanned intersections and on the route, please obey all
applicable vehicle code laws. These roads are open to normal traffic, but
are generally lightly traveled due to the rural nature of the area. Riders who
violate vehicle code laws, ride unsafely or are rude, discourteous or dangerous
to other riders (or to law enforcement personnel) will NOT be allowed to
enter any future SCOR events and face ticketing by law enforcement
personnel.

Kangen Water® - Japan based
Enagiic Corporation has been the leading manufacturer of alkaline ionizers and
water filtration machines for over 30 years. Kangen Water® machines have
been introduced into the United States to turn home tap water into pure healthy
alkaline drinking water. An Enagic machine can produce Kangen Water® which
has all three properties of being an antioxidant, being alkaline to reduce body
acidity and being micro-clustered which allows Kangen Water to more quickly
penetrate your cells and truly hydrate the body. Many SPIZ customers have
reported improved dissolution of the product in Kangen Water® and better
performance when compared to bottled or tap water. You may find more
information at http://7198030.yourbodyiswater.com.
Kangen Water®
will be available to all Prelude riders at our SAG stops and at a booth in our
Cycling Festival. Stop by, fill up your water bottle and see how much better
you perform!
Figueroa Mountain Brewery - This brand new beer
brewery has established it's business in Buellton literally within a half mile
of our Start/Finish line. They specialize in a variety of fine ales and will be
making their products available to everyone over age 21 at our Cycling
Festival. Look for their popup tent near the catered lunch area.
